Ashburton Borough School

Ashburton Borough School town site is sited on 2.7 hectares of attractive grounds, including a rugby field, soccer/hockey field as well as large paved areas and two adventure playgrounds.
The school adjoins the towns commercial area and consists of seven main classroom blocks plus a performance centre and administration building. |

The school also enjoys an Information Centre incorporating school library with technology access.
Lagmhor Site

In 2001 Ashburton Borough School merged with Lagmhor School ensuring the continuance of a rural school in a rural community.
In addition the Lagmhor site offers staff and pupils expanding educational opportunities.
The site is ninety three years old, occupying three hectares of land. The grounds have very well established trees, gardens and hedges. |

The Lagmhor site has its own heated swimming pool, BBQ area and sealed tennis court. A large adventure playground and rugby field are to the rear of the grounds.
Lagmhor students travel to the town site regularly and enjoy using the library and computer suite, joining the whole school assemblies and combining with the town site students in developmental and enrichment afternoons, sports events, cultural visits, trips and school camps.
There are two classrooms and a library/information room. The classrooms are divided into Junior and Senior. Yrs 0 - 3 are in the Junior, Yrs 4 - 8 in the Senior. Two teachers work at this site currently.
