SuccessMaker courses are equally effective for students with limited ability as those who require extension.
As well as seeing real learning gains there are positive benefits in the growth of self esteem, confidence and improved behaviour.
| Ashburton Borough School has purchased five stations of SuccessMaker software. SuccessMaker is an individualised teaching and learning tool that challenges and advances students through the curriculum at their own pace.

For Ashburton Borough this means that the targeted children will have a totally individualized programme of work in numeracy and literacy.

The appeal of SuccessMaker lies in the electronic culture today’s children live and breathe. SuccessMaker combines the power of computer based multimedia with a carefully developed programme of learning.
SuccessMaker Reading, Spelling, Science and Maths programmes are being accessed by Ashburton Borough students currently with 80+ students working on individual programmes in 2- 4 sessions a week. |
