The Home and School Committee for Ashburton Borough School is a great group of parents that actively work together with a Staff representative and Board of Trustee’s representative to support the students to have an amazing experience at ABS.
We achieve this support primarily through fundraising for classroom items and school ground facilities and equipment. |

We also really enjoy working with the wider school community to assist with Second Hand Uniform Sales, Parent Education Evenings and New Parent Morning Tea’s. We meet every 2nd Tuesday of the Month at 7:30pm in the staffroom at school – please feel free to come and join us for a cuppa and a chat and to find out more about what we do.
Our Mission Statement – To work within the education system and support the school community, in which children will be equipped with skills to explore, understand and appreciate their world and realise their potential.
Our Role – To provide liaison between home and school for the purpose of support and social engagement.
